The Arc of Aurora is a private not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

The Arc of Aurora changes lives.

With knowledge, passion, commitment and integrity, we work with and on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to improve the quality of their lives. We are not residential or day program service providers and we do not run segregated schools — we do not offer, for instance, housing, transportation or job coaching. Government-funded organizations are charged with those duties.

We are advocates.

We are the folks people call when they feel like every door is closed and there are no more options. We help the organizations and people who ARE supposed to provide housing, transportation and job coaching understand what they need to know to adequately support their clients with IDD.
